Delta Bloc

The DB 65S is a vehicle restraint system which has been developed and tested according to the standards of the European Norm EN 1317. It is mostly used as transportable safety equipment. Both the compact dimensions and the minor weight notably distinguish the DB 65S.

This system enables a fast and simple installation and setting-up of the concrete barrier. The patented coupling system ensures a force-fit interconnection of the elements.

The system DB 65S is mainly used for securing construction sites and directing traffic temporarily. Due to the small width of the concrete element the DB 65S is perfect for dividing highway lanes in case of refurbishment.

When the DB 65S was developed two main features were combined in one product:

• high containment at small working widths
• fast installation for less interruption of traffic

By using the patented tension bar and coupling the DB 65S achieved top crash test results. There is reliable prevention of breakthrough.

The DB 65S passed the H1 – Test in February 2002. The maximum displacement measured in this test amounted to 1,42m and thus corresponds to the working width class W6. Furthermore the DB 65S was
tested for T3. The maximum displacement measured in this test amounted to 0,41m and thus it corresponds to the working width class W2.
